Biography

Shodankeh grew up in Bo, Sierra Leone. His father was a Methodist, and his mother was a Muslim (she eventually became a follower of Jesus through Shodankeh’s ministry).
After completing his academic training to prepare for ministry, Shodankeh launched his missionary journey among the millions of Muslims living in the North of Sierra Leone.

His ministry grew in scope and depth, but in March 2005, his life took on a new direction when he hosted the first Disciple Making Movement (DMM) training in West Africa with David Watson. Since then, New Harvest, in partnership with New Generations, and other partners has launched thousands of simple Churches encompassing hundreds and thousands of new disciples, resulting to dozens of Disciple Making Movements in multiple West African countries and beyond.
Shodankeh, has served as a catalyst to launch a myriad humanitarian projects such as mobile clinics, seed banks, safe water, community sanitation, and child protection programs. The cascading impact of these projects in vulnerable communities has opened the door for a multitude of Discovery Bible Studies and church plants.
In the last 25 years, Shodankeh has trained thousands of Christian leaders in the Disciple Making Movement process, and has mobilized and trained tens of thousands of dedicated intercessors worldwide.
Shodankeh has received several awards for achievement/ proficient Christian leadership including the William Wilberforce Award, awarded by the Colson Center in the United States of America in 2003.
